DNA results indicate that the Joseph Stricklin line represents a different Stricklin line than the Matthew Strickland and Thwaite Strickland lines. We currently have 3 participants from the Joseph Stricklin line - two participants who are descendants of Joseph's son Abiel (#4053 and #4056) and one participant who is a descendant of Joseph's son Samuel (#70421). Because the participants descend through two sons of Joseph, the DNA results that are the same for the three participants are ancestral to Joseph Stricklin - that is, the results are the same results that Joseph Stricklin would have if he were alive to be tested.
